TING studiecoaching

We are very satisfied with the many years of coaching and guidance that the Ting employees have given to our son. He has learned to plan and to study. And when he was able to do that, he still wanted to stay with Ting because it was nice because there was a quiet space to work, it was fun with other children, there was still control and questions could be asked to coaches who gave extra explanation could give. Coaches who really bond with the students work very pleasantly. And although my children grumbled regularly about the awareness exercises (Xperience) that emphasized the 'The Leader in me' principles, I found that to be of added value. These principles of Covey in particular teach children how to take control in your own personal life. This applies to many aspects: learning, working together and building relationships. Ting is more than just doing homework :-)

Kids learn to plan well and keep an overview at Ting. And in addition: a lot of attention is also paid to reflection and taking responsibility. Certainly also during the transition to the bridge class, learning a solid structure is a very nice grip for all the new things that come to them! And for the parents it gives a lot of rest.

Our son initially went to Ting study coaching with great resistance. After a few months the resistance changed and he went there faithfully and reluctantly. We always found good supervisors with a "click" with these young people to be positive, as well as the daily reports. Thanks in part to Ting, he has now succeeded with high marks! Learning will never be his "thing", but Ting has dragged him through his high school years, thanks!

With a period of study coaching, our son learned to plan his homework better independently. As a result, he was increasingly able to study effectively and efficiently. Because of the structure offered, the quiet workplace, the daily reports, the personal attention and professional support, Ting has made a good contribution to obtaining his diploma with a beautiful grade list. I have asked Ting for study choice advice. After filling in a questionnaire I quickly received my SPA (Student Profile Analysis) at home. A little week later I went with my father on the way to Apeldoorn to talk to the study coach. After we extensively discussed my profile, we arrived at the studies. I was able to choose a few studies that seemed interesting to me and for which I wanted to see the description from the study choice guide. then I had to give each study a grade. By systematically going through the studies in this way you get a good overview of which studies do and do not suit you and your profile. In this way I came up with a few studies that seem very nice to me and I have almost finished my choice! The conversation with the study coach and my SPA gave me a lot of insight about who I am and what motivates me. I often noticed that I already knew many things she told about me, but was not really aware of them and that those things make me unique as a person. This conversation helped me enormously and will also help me for a long time. I can definitely recommend this!
