Great family campground and recreational park. Cafe, restaurants, hire facilities swimming opportunities (pool and lake) plenty of playgrounds indoor and outdoors in a well laid out complex. COVID-19 regulations are easy to comply too. The park is close to local villages and walking/biking is a perfect way to get around. There are tractor and pony ride options available. Pitches are abundant but all grass covered so rain can be an issue. The place was packed in the 2020 summer holiday period. Would happily visit again when a bit less busy but all in all a great vacation! Highly recommended. 👍

If you have young children, this is a great site. Or if you like peace and quiet, this is also a good campsite for you. Let me say it is a nice campground. Well maintained and clean. With an even more beautiful environment. And VERY large pitches. But then also really big. Do you have children aged 10 or older, or are you used to France or Spain campsites where you are entertained until 12:00 (at the very least) then I would say not. I cannot understand how the ANWB adds that this is a 5 star campsite. It's not like the pictures on the internet show. If you have a less luxurious pitch, there is a water tap. You only have to share it with at least 8 pitches. The swimming lake is a fish pond where they have thrown an inflatable playground. With some mud beach around it. It is a 20 by 20 pond. Certainly not a swimming lake. It is a few kilometers away (het hulsbeek). There are only 2 toilet / shower blocks for the whole campsite. Only 4 toilets per gender per building. So far too little. And there are only 6 showers per building. Of which 2 are family showers. The toilets and showers were super clean. You have to shower with a card where a small amount is debited every few seconds. You can buy these at the counter. That does not belong to a so-called 5 star campsite. At 11 o'clock everything is very quiet. That's nice if you have small children or if you like peace and quiet, but for teenagers this is super boring. There is a beautiful indoor pool. But very small and is only a bath. No extra things like a slide or bubble bath or a stretch with rapids. The surroundings of the campsite are truly magical. You can walk for hours on really beautiful forests. They say they have a supermarket, but that is a cupboard at the counter with some items. You must be off your spot by 11am. If not, the lawn mower man is impatiently waiting for you to leave. Fortunately the weather was nice and the surroundings were beautiful otherwise I would have gone home earlier.

Super camping. Great for families, but also for those seeking tranquility who appreciate good facilities and spacious quiet places. Beautiful walks and special places such as the exceptionally beautiful Ootmarsum, in the area.
