Aan de Boswal

Deze B&B is een dikke aanrader!! De boerderij is een mooie mix van oud en nieuw, waar wij erg van gecharmeerd waren. En Wilma is een echte gastvrouw die je alle zorgen uit handen neemt. Gewoon top! Bij aankomst stond er een lekker gebakje klaar en het huis was brandschoon. We hebben hier een heerlijk weekend gehad!

What a wonderful stay. The farm has been beautifully renovated while retaining old elements. There is an electric fireplace in the living room which creates a cozy atmosphere. The beds are of good quality. And the bathroom seems to come from a wellness center. We stayed here with our daughters aged 2 and 0. All toys were ready for our oldest daughter. She was very happy with this. The crib was completely made for our youngest daughter. There was even a changing mat and baby bath. The surroundings are beautiful. Many walking and cycling routes but also many villages with delicatessen shops and cafes / restaurants (which unfortunately were now closed due to Corona). The owner has given us a lot of great tips what we could do. We would recommend this stay to everyone

Modernized attractive and cozy farm. Ideal for a few days away from home. For couples or families. Warm up by the fireplace after an outing. We enjoyed a few days. Recommended!

We were able to stay a few days at "Aan de Boswal" and it was great! Wilma responds quickly and very friendly to messages and questions. On arrival she was already waiting for us which gave a very nice feeling. In addition, she even had fresh apple pie + whipped cream ready for us in the fridge! We got a tour of the house and she gave us tips for the area. The stay itself was also wonderful! The house is fully equipped and Wilma takes care of the house down to the last detail. The stove in the living room heats up very quickly, which is great for the colder days. In the kitchen you can find everything someone is looking for and even more! Various types of tea and coffee were available. All bedroom windows are also equipped with an insect screen, so that annoying insects stay out. The beds are very large and sleep wonderfully! The sheets also smell wonderfully fresh and there are fluffy blankets to keep you extra warm when you are cold. We also found the style of the interior of the house very cozy and beautiful! Scented bags are scattered throughout the house, so that you often smell a nice scent when you walk by somewhere, for example in the halls. All candle holders also contained tea lights, so that everything could be pleasantly lit! There is also plenty of toilet paper and all other necessities. All over the house are magazines about life in the countryside or the surrounding area, so you can read interesting pieces and articles! Wilma has an eye for detail! The grounds around the house are also beautifully maintained with a neat lawn, a super nice and cozy gazebo with good chairs and chair cushions. The view from the kitchen is beautiful too! The corn was still high and the field with mustard seed (?) Was also pleasant. The neighbors of the house have a mega cowshed, so we had some problems with flies in the garden, so bring the fly swatter! We had no problems with the cows themselves and it is nice to hear them now and then. All in all, a wonderful holiday and a treasure as an owner! She does everything she can to make you feel comfortable. Incredibly thoughtful! We would love to come back! Tip for a cheap drugstore: Die Grenze in Ootmarsum!

Had a wonderful midweek in the beautiful renovated farm. The part is still intact and exudes the atmosphere of the past. The farm itself has been modernized and looks beautiful and cozy. So a good place to stay with the hospitality of Wilma who provided us with all kinds of tips to do. The breakfast with all kinds of regional products from the immediate area is certainly recommended. A 10 was already mentioned in the guestbook. That may even be a 10+ or, in a song festival atmosphere: Aan de Boswal: douze points !!!
