Reviews

This review is mainly for the cinema. We went to the lounge room (no. 3). Excellent seating and incredible sound and picture quality. The other rooms have regular seating but i expect similar quality A/V. Expensive drinks but tickets are affordable, staff is friendly and accommodating. The Forum building is interesting and well worth a visit. They organize a good amount of affordable, cultural events for young and old.

What an amazing building! I really enjoy the place, the modern architecture and all the activities that you are able to do there. I didn't use the restaurant, but the café was really nice. Please go to the rooftop for an amazing view of the city, of the Martini tower, specially on a sunny day or a clean sky night. You are able to make a signature for the library so you can borrow a huge variety of books there. Nice place to meet people, to read, to work - as you have a lot of tables that you can use for free - and also there is a nice museum inside. It's really a place to go once you're in Groningen.

Great library and a place to study. The building is very modern and has a view on the whole city. Cannot forget about the stunning observation deck located on the last floor.

Beautiful architecture, huge range of resources

Architecture is superb, nothing bad to say about such a beautiful building. Inside however I'm disappointed by the experience each time I've been. Space is underutilized. Prices are high, but then again it's required to support the running. Toilets are a shambles though, they're already falling apart in places and are consistently dirty. Someone or something messed up there, but nothing has been done about it. Such a shame that the basic things let down this architectural masterpiece.
