This place is awesome. I hear in the summertime, it's great outdoors, but even inside, it's a very very cool hangout. I also saw the Biosphere Experience in their 360 degree 3D dome theater. It was out of this world! I've never experienced something so immersive! This was definitely a highlight from my time in Groningen.

The DOT is one of the best main attractions in Groningen. This place is so alternative and different from everything else in the city. They have great movie nights where they often play old films and the tickets are €5 each! Drinks are on the slightly more expensive side but the atmosphere is brilliant nonetheless. They also have really interesting planetarium and arctic sky nights which I’ve heard are super cool. The beach is also nice to visit in the summer for the two days it’s warm here. I would definitely recommend going here, especially in the winter when they have little camp fires and benches outside that make it very romantic and cosy.
