Occasionally, an error is made with the intra-Community declaration. For example, a country number disappears. In the past you would receive a kind of threatening letter in which you had to explain why you had filled in / stated the error correctly. But nowadays you get a normal letter with the request for improvement. I think that is a significant improvement. This review is intended for the tax authorities as a whole, and not especially for Enschede. You will also receive an email in advance to remind you of the declaration. All in all, I think that the tax authorities have improved noticeably.
