Train Lodge

Super cozy venue with super nice staff! There’s some space in front of the train to hang out. Rooms are super small, but big enough to store all your belongings. Beds are quite comfy. Toilets and bathrooms were always clean. Recommended for everyone who’s looking for a great, yet super affordable stay in Amsterdam!

I would NOT recommend booking here. Should you need to change days, get a refund, contact them, etc....good luck. I had a stay booked for April 2020, which was obviously cancelled due to COVID. They will not refund me or give me a voucher. I had 6 weeks booked all over Europe and EVERY other hotel, flight, train etc has done either refund or voucher. Train Lodge have only responded to me a couple of times last year and were incredibly rude and unhelpful. Their contact form on the website does not work, their email address apparently does not exist (and I tried a few variations). I messaged them on Instagram and no reply. I will tell people to avoid this place.

Cool hostel to pass the night. The bed is comfortable and you can have a good sleep without noise. Everything is clean, rooms and wc/shower. There is a bar and space enough to relax. The staff is super friendly and ready to help you. Is close by the station and you have also some place to eat.

I was there last summer. Lovely, kind and friendly place. I met there many awesome people. I hope, this summer, I will have a same journey to Amsterdam to meet new people and spend some days in this awesome city.

I had a great stay. The beds are very comfortable and the staff are very friendly and drinks and snacks are reasonably priced. I met some really cool people who were staying there too. The transport system is very good and simple to use.
