Restinn

Incredibly bad service! Last summer holiday I made a reservation at Restinn in Emmen. On arrival we were not warmly welcomed at all as described. When we had to go through the house rules it came up that you are not allowed to use a mini grill plate. We had already bought meat and assumed that a hotel house in nature would offer this possibility. Unfortunately not the case and this is not indicated anywhere. It was said that we should have called about this ourselves ... Because their response was not at all compliant, such as 'how annoying that you assumed it, but unfortunately ...' they only said very bluntly that we should have called was allowed. Finally we asked if we could cancel it. For this they had to call Restinn. In consultation they decided that it was possible to cancel. Of course a great pity because we were looking forward to this. We would get all our money back, otherwise we would have taken our things out of the car and stayed 1 night. I had to send an email about the cancellation and I casually got a message saying I wouldn't get 1 night back! While this is verbally promised by the campsite owner! I ended up having to wait months for an answer because I would keep getting called back. In the end I NEVER got a call from them! I always had to call / email afterwards. Now finally after 2 months of being held on the line my money received back, but NOT the full amount! Ridiculous! Otherwise we would of course have stayed 1 night! Very bad service! I would say, DO NOT BOOK !!!

Accommodation good. Complaints handling incredibly bad. Not professional . Very amateurish, rude.
