The Volkstuinen are built on fine zand polder with a bewitching smell like a beautiful mirage with little doll houses and gardens, vogelsje, a Disneyland. (Electronic devices, computers, for music or kitchen ... ). It is also with the gasthuis, astronomical quantities of alcohol that disappear in favor of an oligarchy that has been weaned for decades. With the maintenance budget, it is valuable equipment that disappears (Tools, building materials, furniture, plants ... ). Finally, we find as elsewhere an oligarchy or bende boeven which plunders the majority, nothing new in the volsktuinen. Landscape and the gardens are pleasant to walk by

Incredibly beautiful park in Sloterdijk. Not a very far walk from the Sloterdijk station or hotels nearby. It was a great place to take a few moments to relax and take in the views of the very active park

Peaceful and tranquil place

This is a very quiet place to chill in the middle of the ever busy Amsterdam. Here you'll mostly meet locals who are busy with gardening and relaxing.
