Ton Dujardin (05/12/2019)
Beautiful things from a historical past. Too bad things are going so badly with NAC !!! Hopefully things will get better from now on.

The NAC football club from Breda knows the whole of the Netherlands. To visibly contribute to the history, a museum was established a few years ago. A football club does not need a large prize cabinet to have a rich history. Take NAC; a unique club, a unique history. There is good reason for the Supporters Council to set up a real museum in the early 21st century. She does this together with some very involved people within NAC, including the later NAC Museum honorary chairman Cees van Haperen. A museum in which the precious treasures of Bredaas football pride can be admired. A museum where anecdotes and relics are more important than the silverware. An empty space under section G, formerly the gym, will be transformed into a space in which the special life story of NAC is told. The opening will take place on February 22, 2002 by then mayor Chris Rutten and Cees van Haperen. Visitor numbers have improved over the years. The supporter increasingly wants to get to know the background of his football love NAC. As if you are looking for the family tree with the related stories of your family. Even the ANWB describes the NAC Museum as a fun and educational outing for young and old. The NAC Museum is making progress and has proven in over ten years that it is an added value. It brings the history of NAC to the supporter. The NAC Museum proves year after year that it has a right to exist. And then fate strikes as with thunder in clear skies. The NAC Museum was ravaged on January 19, 2013 by major water damage due to a break in the water supply. The collection was saved thanks to the unremitting efforts of volunteers who arrived quickly. The largest amount of water was removed with tractors and dryers, and the valuable inventory was secured. Collection so thank goodness saved, but unfortunately the same could not be said of walls, floor, timeline and ceiling. Everything had to be stripped and rebuilt. Friday, April 24, 2015. Two years after the NAC Museum is forced to close, the day will be there to reopen. The NAC Museum is resurrected from the ashes, more beautiful and bigger than ever before! An absolute gem in the NAC landscape, which they can be damn proud of. See also RB Media, nacmuseum.nl
