New veste is the view from my current home, I live on Oude Vest. No idea where they conjured up the e at Nieuwe Veste, perhaps Oude Vest erased an e. When I look to the right I see a beautiful building with a slit in the facade, it reminds me of something feminine. Behind it, the St. Anthony's Cathedral with its pillars rises higher into the air, it reminds me of something masculine. A friend of mine lives on Nieuwe Veste, and lives beautifully there. On the ground floor is a nice relaxation with beautiful plants and nice decorative elements. In the middle there is a giant tree, under which you can feel at home.

The Nieuwe Veste is constantly changing. And goes with the times. Now, for example, they are working on a new entrance, "market hall" a beautiful staircase in the middle of the main building, where together, connection and culture are the code words. You can sit on it. Worked. Worked together. Be acted upon. A place where people walk up and down Connection also to different locations in a large building or whole. The library, restoration, music and dance departments, the concert hall but also the courtyard and the film house are so connected. January 25, 2020 is the reopening of De Nieuwe Veste. THE CULTURAL MARKET HALL Public festive reopening at 11 a.m. and At noon. Private reopening in the early afternoon.

Nice place to work and quietly read a book. Nowadays you also have a nice dome where you can lie and read. I also tried this once but then I was told that this was only for children. Too bad because it was very nice haha.

extremely cozy reading cafe and library at the same time not really e3en restaurant but the soup and the bouncers here prepared with love am here mostly busy with my laptop
