Lovely place, friendly staff, great breakfast. I especially love the decorations in the room, it's a pretty amazing piece of art, depicting the history of this former mining region.

It was great fun with Marco and Hennie. We were warmly welcomed and well looked after. The rooms look neat, nice and fine. The paintings on the walls of the rooms really fit in with the murals and the history of the city of Heerlen. Nothing was too much trouble. It gave a real holiday feeling. The breakfast was also generous and well taken care of. Special things were bought for the children who are vegan, really great. There was a refrigerator and a microwave was added later, which was very pleasant in this corona time with all closed restaurants. Thank you Hennie and Marco and good luck with the renovation. 😍😘

Beautiful original and well-kept room with a lovely bed. Nice shower and extensive breakfast. A 10-minute walk from the lively center with many beautiful walking and cycling opportunities nearby. Unfortunately no terrace yet, but that is in the planning. Good communication with owner. Really recommended!

Fine location, beautiful room and a delicious breakfast. But most of all, we were pleased with the personal service we received from Marco. Next time we are in Heerlen we will definitely sleep in The Project again.
