If you want to learn about astronomy, you should visit. If you want some advice on telescope's or buy one, this is the place to be. If you eant to grab a look through there telescope, come and visit. They are open on almost every Friday.

Went by this observatory when on holiday. We had a very interesting evening where we learned a lot about the solar system. Unfortunately it was cloudy that night but we were told that we can come back for free on a clear night to see the sky. I highly recommend it!

tiny observatory with nice friendly staff. For the moon eclipse there were a large amount of people queueing and both the observatory and the nearby restaurant (closed!!) seemed unprepared for this. However, on any other friday I am sure the observatory would be a great family visit destination.
