Highly recommended especially for primary school boys who want to see bright eyes. But now you have to pre-order or buy tickets as almost everywhere. Prices comparatively moderate.

Waiting for the steam train that this time turned out to be a 'Schienenbus' would be a lot more pleasant if there were some more seats on the station. In addition, there is an awful lot of overdue maintenance with regard to the platform. Really a poor place. I know it is voluntary work, but with all the promotion of Kerkrade attractions it would be better for the municipality to pay more attention to this.

Been here today for the neighbor and neighbor event. It was very nice, nice car put at Kerkrade station and immediately got on the steam train. At Simpelveld station there was a lot to do with a play park / ball pit and bouncy castle. There could be some more parasols here for shade, but otherwise it was well arranged and the little one had a good time so that is the main one.

On arrival there is only a platform with one bench for the rest nothing. Quickly in the center.
