Thai street food schiedam

Love the taste of thai food. Give a try to asian beers they keep.

We ordered food on December 23rd, after wanting to try this place for months. It was a disappointing experience, both in terms of service and quality of the dishes. When we arrived to pick up our food, the hostess was smoking a cigarette outside, which she threw onto the middle of the street as she saw us approaching, barely missing us. The bottle of hand sanitizer on the counter was empty and the place did not look clean, nor was the staff welcoming or friendly. We had ordered two curries: a green curry and a red curry. The curries were much too thin; the consistency was that of cut vegetables floating in water. The taste was ok, although it did not taste fresh or exciting in any way and the dishes contained far too much bell pepper. This meal left me feeling unsatisfied and ripped off. We tried to reach out to the restaurant to let them know about our experience, but the phone was not answered when we tried to call and there is no contact form or email address on the website.

Pity they don’t serve fry fish with tamarind sauce anymore. The decoration lemon in the mocktail was yellowish. We really enjoyed the salad. The main course is what less tasty but in general a 5 stars from me for a very friendly service.

I visited for take away some dinner a couple of days ago. All the food we ordered were brilliant! And also the staff were very kind and helpful. Highly recommended to both eat in and take away.

The food here is delicious and very traditional. The restaurant isn't as salubrious as some but the quality of the food easily makes up for it. The staff were very warm and friendly. We enjoyed a hot summer evening eating al fresco outside the restaurant. Would highly recommend if you like thai food. The yellow curry is to die for!!
