The Olle Kerk (old church) is a church building from the thirteenth century on the Hoendiep (210) and the Kerkstraat in Hoogkerk in the province of Groningen. The church originally had a tower, but it was lost in 1514 in the battle between the city of Groningen and Saxony. The medieval church was dedicated to Maria and Sint-Ulrich. The dedication to Ulrich is derived from the mention of a bell from 1451. The church organ was made in 1848 by the organ builders Van Dam and was expanded by this company in 1867. The church was radically restored in the sixties of the twentieth century under the leadership of the architect P.L. de Vrieze (1917-1987), where the building on the west side was expanded and provided with a new facade. The roof rider was also repaired. Since 2014, De Olle Kerk (until then a reformed church) and the Elim building (until then reformed) have been under the Protestant Congregation in Hoogkerk.
