Very kind and pleasant owner - Roel. Quiet district, tasty food and cozy atmosphere. English and Deutsch - not a problem. No problems during one month.

Wonderfull place, a Paradise in the North of netherlands. House and rooms are very clean and outdoor zone its amazing for chilling and relax. Breakfast and dinner its made with a lot of Love and taste really well. Amazing cooks. Working or in Holidays its one of the best places to stay in the north.

Awesome place to stay. Excellent reception, nice place to relax with very good accomodations and the owner is an awesome person, very kind and is an excellent cocker, very delicious food. I will miss everything.

Also a safe and pleasant location for women in a homely setting where everything is done to make everyone happy. I have been here very regularly for several days this past year and have never experienced anything unpleasant, neither inside nor on the street in Hoogezand and also the train station is very close. I gave 4 stars because we as a woman always think we can do something better 😁 👍 Roel thanks again for all the good care!

During my secondment I spent 17 years there (!) In the "board" and on that basis I think I can type that the owner is doing his best to please all his different guests. Nothing is too much for this host. Many, what am I typing ... all hospitality entrepreneurs can take an example in terms of hospitality. I'm sure some people will compare it to their home, but it's not your home. It is a guest house that needs to be run, because despite the not too high prices, money has to be earned. Roel, topper, keep it up and don't be fooled by the comments of people who are probably much worse off than yours.
