De Betere Tijden (Better Times - a very apt name in these Corona days) offers a great three course gourmet takeaway meal option, to which we were treated by our children. A great option now that restaurants are closed due to the lockdown. You receive a plethora of little packages with food components which you have to heat up and combine at home. Great team building exercise! The result is an excellent restaurant quality meal at home. Very well done!!

Amazing and ambitious food at a great price! If I live in Groningen I'd go back here at least every time they changed the menu. Hurry up and get here before they raise the prices!

The place was amazing. Simply amazing. It's very small, cosy and the atmosphere is chill and cuddling. The waiters are very nice and helpful and the food is a mix of flavours and imagination that it cannot be described by words. I tried the surprise menu and I was indeed surprised as well as amazed. Definitely a place to visit at least once.
