The tourist information about this area is limited to car and bicycle routes and tips for canoe rental. How is it possible that the recreational information is no longer focused on water sports? Why are there so few marinas along the Linge, hardly any mooring places for the road? The hundreds of "no mooring" signs do not make you feel welcome. Does this area not want to develop? We pass all the villages unseen. Nice stops (eg for children) Geofort, Uilenpark, tower of Aquoy? Inaccessible. The local catering industry could earn a lot more if there were day jetties for passers-by. Truly a missed opportunity for both entrepreneurs and water sports enthusiasts.
Emailed them about the slipway in hellouw. But don't get an answer. Is it so much trouble to respond?

It is pleasant to live here with in the municipality of West Betuwe. Geldermalsen has a shopping center (cafes, restaurants, shops, etc.). On Friday morning there is a large market with something for everyone. In the meadow perimeter there are plenty of camping options. It is centrally located in the Netherlands near the A2 and A15. You can be in Utrecht, Nieuwegein, Tiel, Den Bosch etc.
