Either racist or discriminatory! My partner went for a visit today for the second time to seriously find and buy a wedding dress. At arrival (literally at the entrance with the door still open) she was confronted by one of the employees or owner (not clear). She said to her “You can’t try on dresses if they are not within your budget, go there “low budget dresses”, it’s better you don’t go there (end of the shop where the more expensive dresses are) . My partner being shocked at such a reaction asked “What do you mean, I can’t go and see those ones?” . The lady said “Yes go to the low budget dresses since you don’t have the budget for it”!!!! Besides the fact that we are both high earners and my partner is a doctor, it was one of the most humiliating and upsetting experiences for her. This is unbelievable and I can’t imagine or even understand the motive behind such a behaviour whether it’s Racism/Discrimination and/or Economic pre-judgment IT WAS AND IS UTTERLY WRONG!! Disgraceful little shop in a small town where we live, we will never visit again and recommend everybody reading this to boycott them!!

Very friendly,professional stuff. The dresses are very beautiful ,a lot of variaty and good prices. I had to look into a few cities ,in The Netherlands, till i found the De Sluier shop in Arnhem, the most beautiful dress ever. I definatelly recomand it. I first had contact by telephone because I wanted to 'feel' how the contact was, because I also called other things where I felt rushed and the conversation was not really going and it was a bit blunt. not trying on a wedding dress every month, and it is quite exciting. When I had read the reviews of the veil, I called and made an appointment after a pleasant conversation. In March we had the appointment, just 2 weeks before corona, we (my mother and 2 sisters) were welcomed and we got coffee with some sweets. I was a bit early but we could already see some dresses and drink our coffee. After a selection of super cute dresses, it eventually became dress number 1, the rest couldn't surpass the first dress. I was allowed to try on everything I wanted. The owner was also there to give advice about the length of the dress. After the yes, we drank a glass of bubbles, and the invoice was drawn up. In the car we talked for a long time about the pleasant afternoon. Unfortunately we had to reschedule the wedding because of Corona, but fortunately I already have the dress. Here you can get good and honest advice in a relaxed atmosphere, with or without a size more. I will be back in November to have my dress tailored, super nice to be able to wear my dress again 😊

Yesterday I walked into De Sluier because I was looking for a pair of shoes for our wedding that will take place in a month and a half. Unfortunately, when I bought my wedding dress (at another store), I had a very bad experience, and I told you about it. What sweet girls. They have thought along with me about the situation, made phone calls and have been able to do a lot for me. I am very grateful for that. And that, while I only came to the store for a pair of shoes. I bought my dream dress from another store, but I regret not coming to this beautiful store with such lovely employees. Thanks, because of what you have done for me, I can now finally enjoy that I am almost getting married.

Last Saturday I went to de Sluier with lovely people to look for the dress for our wedding. How well I have been helped with this bridal business. They took their time for us, were very nice and cheerful and helped find the dress of my dreams 😍 Thank you very much!
