Between the sale of our house in June 2019 and the move to our new location in the autumn of 2020, we were able to stay in a great chalet with Gerard and Nellie. It took quite a long time to bridge, so that we got to know the recreation park and the Veluwe better. Our experience is very positive: Gerard and Nellie maintain the park with great skill and commitment, like true stewards. The service they offer is not exactly poor. This allowed us to call at the craziest times if there was a serious problem - and that was resolved very quickly.
When Covid-19 ruled, we were happy to be here, we experienced it as a kind of positive isolation. We were in the heart of the Veluwe nature: so often walked (Klompenpaden!), Cycled a lot (mtb, race, trekking bike) - and every wind direction is different and continues to surprise. To the beach of Harderwijk or Elburg, deeper into the Crown Estates, visit the large city of Apeldoorn: it is all there and relatively close.
In short: we had a great time! And therefore also highly recommended for those who love peace and nature.
This beautiful place is well cared for and maintained, the chalets look great from the outside and inside. An attractive ambiance.
