I've been here with a class of 26 children and all of them were entertained in an educational way. It was a very impressive experience and I have learned a lot concerning the second world war. Very humbling to hear people tell about children having to steal coal to keep their families warm, or how people were hiding others in plain sight to save them from the Germans (app. 1945). There is a lot to be learned here, about basic human rights, for example. We should never stop strive for equal rights, to treat one another better and use words, instead of weapons.

You get a reasonable idea of going into hiding during the war. I just wonder how many people have offered shelter. In the museum it seems that everyone has helped people in hiding ... The number of resistance fighters later turned out to be minimal. And understandable too ...

Nice museum to visit if you are in the area, not very big. Also no weapons and such attributes. Tells about local life during the Second World War, therefore also a great exaggeration to call it National as far as I am concerned. With going into hiding as a red line, which also happened in the house in which the museum is housed, it is certainly a nice piece of history that is told. What I particularly like are the stories of survivors and other visual material that is shown. Via the IZI travel app you can hear or read something in every room.
