Nice door but no information. Looked closed to me.

Nice museum with antiquity room, xylotheque, a miniature fair and much more. In the years between 1972 and 1977 it was a well-known meeting point for modern art under the inspiring leadership of Thom Mercuur, the famous Frisian art collector and founder of the Belvédère museum. Dada, Cobra, De Stijl and De Ploeg as well as Jan Mankes, Boele Bergman, Willem van Althuis, Sjoerd de Vries, Tames Oud were favorite with Thom. Armando and Jopie Huisman also visited. It was a special time. Thom picked out his men, the photographer Sikke Doelen and his brother, there was a specialist for every job. Together with his frame maker, he started a fish restaurant on Hatsum. Nel and Adrie den Oudsten, Sippie and my person took care of daily affairs.

Definitely worth it if you like it.
