The location is stylish and beutiful but the deliverables do not match the expectations: the staff is friendly, they put quite some effort and creativity in preparing their dishes never the less some weird combinations were really inappropriate for my taste.
I saw other clients drinking beer with a fish menu: maybe they love the proposed mix.
Please not give up on creativity but the combinations should be meaningful, not random, gey some good consultant from Japan or Italy.

Our daughter took us (group of 4) here on a Groupon coupon during our sailing trip - for a 5 course tasting dinner. Very friendly reception, great quality food (some nice surprises - especially the herring with beet - some more classical dishes). Two of us followed the wine recommendations (in small "Bob" portions since we had to get up very early next morning) which included a great Chardonnay and Vino Tinto.
We'll be back (also without Groupon :-) ).
Romantic little restaurant just past the Afsuitdijk. Great food and great staff. A wonderful experience
Wonderful place, the price is a bit higher than average, but you get such good service and such good and tasty food. The place was completely full, for covid reasons, but the staff was really really good. The food is rated a Michelin star so the food is tasty and you don't pay so much more :)
