Bunkermuseum Ameland

Nice, but very small. You'll be done here after 5 minutes.

Especially nice and informative in combination with the bicycle excursion (€ 7.50 otherwise € 3, -) "Hidden bunkers" of more than an hour and a half. After the bike ride, you can still view the museum on your own in which the pre-war holiday home Donax has a nice small exhibition and then the film in the cooking bunker itself. The combination gives you a good impression of what it must have been like.

Funny to see but to call it a real museum now ... the story is fun and educational, the videos are educational about Ameland but the bunker itself is disappointing. It is an old kitchen bunker, bare, little to see and very small unfortunately. The other side is, what can and should you expect from an unmanned museum for € 3, -

It doesn't cost much and you don't get much. There are other bunkers on the other side of Hollum, near the horse grave.
