One of many land-art locations in Flevoland, the Netherlands
Leuk om eens te bezoeken maar jammer dat je er niet op kan lopen. Voldoende parkeerplaatsen en je kan eromheen lopen alleen is er geen pad.

Artwork by Bob Gramsma. Placed in 2018 in memory of a hundred years of the Zuiderzee Act. Thanks to this 1918 law, the Flevopolder could be constructed. The colossal artwork lies like a spaceship from another planet in the bend of a dike near the Veluwemeer. Gramsma dug out a hill of farmland and sand. He covered the walls of the hole with shotcrete. After curing, the hill was excavated again, so that the baroque exterior became visible. Riff symbolizes the extraction and artificiality of the polder.
