Neat accommodation. Clean, takes care of. Beds were hard but acceptable. We are not satisfied with the hospitality. On arrival (after 3:00 pm) we were struck "are you there already?". No interest if we had a good trip. When family came to visit they were already intercepted at the path with the question 'What are you supposed to do here?' That could have been nicer. We felt that we were being watched suspiciously and that we were almost 'too much' rather than welcome. In addition to the hospitality there was one annoying aspect. Every morning we were awakened by the roosters of the neighbor at 4:30 a.m. Every 3 seconds we heard kukeleku. In itself quite luxurious such a wake up service, but very early. Had a wonderful holiday despite all this. We will definitely go back to Ameland, but no longer to Appartementenboerderij De Jong.

Whenever we go to Ameland we always stay here. Nice people and everything well organized! Highly recommended!
