Strand Hollum Ameland

Nice beach to take a walk on. It has handicapped parking spots almost on the beach (on top of the dune). Often it is windy here but if you like that then it is great.

Superb beach. Great for the kids. Don't forget to bring your own food as there is only one restaurant (beach club) here. No shops.

Until recently I thought that the most beautiful beach in the world was on Aruba, but now that I have been to Ameland I have to adjust my conclusions accordingly. Ameland is really the most beautiful beach there is. Unfortunately, there are people who still don't get this like Quincy.
