Vogel Uitkijkpost

This place is somewhat hard to reach if you are somehow handicapped. Soft sand and wooden planks are needed to be crossed for it. The view is not really spectacular, but if there are birds it is nice.

The area is beautiful! The dunes are very beautiful. Roughly blown area. Our walking route started at the lighthouse, here starts the rangers, Hollumer dunes and long dunes walking route of approx. 9 km. However, you must follow the yellow signs, they are not clearly marked everywhere. Unfortunately we lost the route! The path that ran along the back of the dunes was also very overgrown. I did find a rare orchid species in the wild. But the path was not passable, many sandy roads so a walking area for the advanced hiker! Good walking shoes are recommended!
