Burg W A Storkschool

The Burg. W.A. Storkschool is the public school in Dwingeloo. Since 1954 this school has been housed under the characteristic Dwingeloo tower block. Approximately 270 children from Dwingeloo and the surrounding area, together with a school team of 24 people, give color to our school. However, with effect from the 2016-2017 school year, we will exchange this location for a new location at the unique Dwingeloo sports facility. In addition to education, the brand-new childcare center "De Twingel" also offers pre-school and after-school care. The new location offers us a building that meets all modern requirements and also a great opportunity to further strengthen the connection between School, Neighborhood and Sport. Our range of lessons is characterized by working on a project basis. By offering courses not separately but in an integrated way, children learn in cohesion, so that what they learn becomes more meaningful.
