HHG Dorpstraat Waddinxveen

Neo-gothic church hall from 1894 designed by architect Verbrugge, built for the independent Christian separated community until 2008. The interior has largely been preserved from the 1894 construction period. In the 1980s a renewed portal was built on the church. The organ in the church has 1 manual and was built by Lohman and Schaaffeit from Leiden. The Christelijk Afgescheide Gemeente was established in 1866 and did not go along with the association of the Cross Congregations in 1869, nor with the formation of the Reformed churches in 1892. In 2008 the church joined the association of Hersteld Hervor de Gemeenten.
