Updated review: good coffee, mostly nice staff except one very unpleasant waitress with some kind of issues to the foreigners. When I told her she has an attitude problem that does not serve well in hospitality business, she said it was not her problem. Rude. Unprofessional. She can make a good coffee served with unfriendly face but also will surly give you a bad indigestion. Great coffee place in a vibrant Haag neighbourhood. Nice staff, friendly and fast. It is great to have a place like this.

Unfortunately the rating has gone down from excellent to 2 stars within past year. Don't get me wrong, the coffee is quite good and Fleur, the owner is very endearing, as well as one young man and young lady, but the rating has gone down because of one unfriendly server. This sourpuss, for the lack of better, word has always been extremely rude and condescending to us, which is not a nice way to behave at any time, especially in the time of corona when one should be grateful for business. We even started avoiding the place when we'd see that server, but one day it was particularily cold so we went in anway, but since she was rude again I let her know we were avoiding the place because of her rudeness, upon which she answered "That's not my problem. You never ask me how I am and how my day was, so this is why I am like that". Excuse me, since when should the customer inquire about barista's wellbeing, in case that barista barely even says hallo and grudginly barks only "what you want to drink?" It is definitely her problem if she works in hospitality industry, but even more for the owner who employs such characters. We shall take pur money elswhere, thank you.

Quite a nice and simple little place, slightly hidden away from the business of daily life, it allows for a moment for yourself. I can definitely vouch for the Americano and the hot chocolate, as well as the croissant with cheese and jam. It's probably a bit out of the way for most people, but if you have an hour or more to spend on yourself and coffee, definitely visit Fleur's!
