Tasty and always fresh with very friendly staff.

Authentic indonesian food is so hard to find. This is the closest thing I've found to the taste of my grandmother, mother and our cook's cooking. True tradional, authentic and delicious food. The risoles, lumper and spekkoek are to die for. This is not a true restaurant but a "toko", a small shop. Yet they have a bar type of sitting arrangement where you can order their fantastic eis tjampur or other snack. I go once a week for my indonesia herbs and sambals and sometimes I treat myself to their ready to eat dishes. Semarang is the place to be if your accustomed to true indonesian food.
