We have been living in Dordrecht for a number of years. We first went to a different church, but in the end we didn't feel at home there. Then via via ended up at the Church of the Nazarene and given it a chance. We actually felt immediately at home. The content of the sermons appealed to us and fits in with our own vision about faith. The people are warm and welcoming. There are enough benches in the church, so there is room for everyone. The services do not last very long and usually start with some beautiful songs (often Opwekking, we personally like that too) and then the sermon follows. We then conclude with a number of songs. You can also come to the service at the open altar to put your worries there. Soon, for the first time in our lives, we will become conscious (instead of automatically from birth) becoming a member of a church. We will also baptize our child here. If you are looking for a nice church I think you can give this church a chance :)!

Very warm municipality with a beating heart for children and mission. A collection of committed believers who are not afraid to roll up their sleeves. If you are looking for a church in Dordt where Love is being lived out and preached, then this is your first choice. If you think such a church is a scary building, but you are looking for a municipality that tells you about what makes your life more beautiful, there is the branch in Reeland with a much lower threshold.
