It is an extraordinary place in the field, right on the border between North and South Holland. The nicely furnished holiday apartments are all on the 1st floor of the building of a small boatyard. Here you can not only live, but also rent "bootjes" for a day tour on the Lisse and the adjacent canals (that goes as far as Leiden or Haarlem).
It's rural, easily accessible and still has a lot to offer when you look outside. Because there is always something going on on the Lisse and next to it on the towpath on the Lissedeich. The Keukenhof and the North Sea beach in Noordwijk-aan-Zee are both just a stone's throw away.
