Brasserie de Poort

If you love seafood this is the place to go. Great place with even greater food. All dishes served are freshly made and taste great. I recommend the menu to share with this you get a bit of everything. The mussels were outstanding. Overall great place to go. All in all a very nice restaurant with a good atmosphere and waiting staff

Used to be a great fish restaurant and one of my favorite places in Leiden, now it's a regular brasserie (there are still good fish and seafood options though!). The atmosphere is great as always but not many finger food options. We went there in the afternoon(not dinner time) and asked for fries along with the beer, they said it's only served as side dish. Is this really a 'brasserie' in the Netherlands??

Atmosphere is good. Staff was quite friendly. But we didn't like the concept with ordering ki d if tapas and sharing. The portions were quite small to share. For 3 small tapas €33 is a bit too much. And the food itself was not wow.

I tried this place two times once for lunch once for dinner. For lunch (below pictures), delicious dishes, super interior and service. A little expensive for the portions. For dinner, food was not delicious, didn't look or taste fresh and they served a one person entrecote dish for two people with double price!
