Tweelwonen "2L De Volharding" Leiden city apartments

Stayed four nights in the loft of De Volharding. Nice apartment, spacious enough. The building has a shared roof terrace where you can enjoy a wonderful view over the water. Apartment is even equipped with a dishwasher and washing machine and looks neat. Only the crockery / kitchen utensils are very minimal: 1 wine glass, 2 forks, no scissors. When we were there it was 35 degrees outside, no wonder it is also 30+ degrees in the loft. I don't know if that was the reason that the refrigerator hardly worked, they will look into it. You can hear the terrace of Lot & de Walvis below, but they close around 0:00. Apartment is located on the edge of the center, parking is available in the nearby parking garage for a reasonable price, and the station is a 20-minute walk away. All in all, had a nice few days here!

We had a beautiful loft fully equipped. Very steep stairs 2 pieces to get there and a lot of height difference in the bedroom and the bathroom. The stairs are also in a place where you have to be very careful with a dull head. Everything was very neat and clean. The check-in and check-out is without anyone seeing anyone. We did have telephone contact and that went fine and friendly. If you stay 5 days there should be 2 more towels as only comment.

Windows in the property do not open, air conditioning does not work. There is also no fan. The sockets are not properly attached this is life-threatening! Especially if you are traveling with small children. The doorbell does not work! The service office does not respond to contact requests. I've never seen such bottomless cheek. E-mails and calls are not answered although there is a problem. The only nice thing is the great view. Unfortunately, it is very noisy on the roof terrace. If the bedroom is at the front, you can't sleep well because there's a pub downstairs

We stayed here for 5 days in June when it was very hot. Clearly it hadn't been ventilated and cleaned for a while because of Corona I suspect. It was very hot inside and there was a thick layer of dust everywhere. Have to clean themselves. Wiring did not look good. In addition, we only had 3 towels for 4 people. There was also very little kitchen utensils. View was great and decor modern but everything has been said. No, never for us again.

Doorbell not working, not clearly indicated how to get in. The windows cannot be detached. No fan available. And received a threatening phone call that we had to come to the apartment immediately.
