Great place for golf fanatics

Very nice location for the famous KLM Open Golf tournament - regrettably they are moving to Amsterdam next year. Very spacious golf course indeed! Enough parking possible to welcome a large crowd.

The Dutch Golf Club with its fully private, members-only course. Colin Montgomerie and his design team took an area of flat, rural farmland located alongside the small town of Spijk, just outside Gorinchem, and transformed it into a golf course that will vie with four other top European courses to host the 2018 Ryder Cup. The plan is that this open and linksy layout at The Dutch will be joined at some time by a second 18-hole course, which will be open to green fee payers.

Great course, great clubhouse. One of the best in the Netherlands.
