This stores tries to run a good business, but falls short of expectations. The quality of the food and atmosphere in the store is less than ideal. The prices are high for food that expires quickly or sometimes isn't very fresh. The store is too small during busy hours, especially during the pandemic. It doesn't always feel safe. There is a lot of product selection despite the store size. It is in a good location for shopping.

Nice store. Specially for vegetables and fruits. Always have offer on some items, depends on the day.

Let's face it, the Plus in Voorhout is simply not as good as the Albert Heijn. Which is a shame because it is closer to my house and is actually quite spacious inside. The biggest problem for me is that I like to use the self scan devices but often in the Plus the check out experience is poor. Even if you are lucky enough to find a check out assistant available for self scan, you still have to go through the question list of coupons, points and stamps that you do not want. Other stuff that is not so good is the fruit and vegetable selection and choice generally and I just wish I didn't have to walk to the most distant corner of the store to pick up a carton of milk. I do like their croissants though and at 5 for 1 euro they are great value.

Really friendly helpful staff who spoken to us in English which was very kind and skillful! Wish my foreign languages were as strong!
