GAME PAINTERS. Bad paintwork, which is an understatement, say quiet tinkering !! Used as a subcontractor by our contractor. Even the contractor's foreman / foreman was amazed at the poor quality. They already started with the wrong paint, with matte instead of the agreed high gloss. We always do, they said. We forgave them for the attic, but the rest had to be high-gloss. They didn't like that already. Then the quality, dramatic. They paint / brush over everything after just a little light sanding. About all the bumps, bumps, nails, plugs and screws and just skipped a lot They even managed to repaint perfectly factory-sprayed interior doors with lots of sags (record is 15 on a door). When we said something about it, we got the answer that they were probably already there and if we didn't look at it, we wouldn't see it. They have been back a few times without much success. After six months we had the front door repainted ourselves (it was hardly pretreated, said our own painter). Within a year the dormer window turned out to be very badly painted; "Craft work, this has to be over", said the supervisor / supervisor. But he is retired and the contractor told us it was dead wood, which should never have been painted ... On the complaints about the quality of the paintwork, he said that he could not have good paintwork delivered for the offered price and his lawyer informed us that we do not receive a guarantee and refers us to the judge. In short: dramatically poor quality, complaints are dealt with by the painter with what he called Amsterdam Humor and the contractor denies all agreements and gives no guarantee, because everything was carried out in accordance with the quotation. We should of course have included in the quotation that good paintwork had to be delivered. Stupid, stupid, stupid of us for not doing that. The traces of their tinkering are still a daily annoyance. My advice: stay away from painting company L C Aartman from ter Aar, because they just paint about dead wood ..... Shame, what a PRUTCH PAINTERS !!
