We only stayed one night and wish it could have been longer. The rooms were fair sized and very clean. The staff was warm, welcoming, friendly and very helpful with suggestions on what to see and the timing of our visits. The views in the area are very special and are worth a return visit. When we do this is where we will stay

Beautiful there... wish can stay there

Unique part of Dutch landscape. The tide fully transforms this area from sea to dry land. At low tide you can collect shellfish like oysters and cockles. We cooked a beautiful meal for 10 after a morning of work and everything was as fresh and delicious as one expects from this pure part of the Netherlands. You will find the locals helpful and open to show you the roles collecting shellfish. While you only need a bucket and a rake the shellfish are not scattered everywhere but rather in several concentrated groups scattered along a dam only accesible with low tide. The oysters are also only collectible at low tide in rocky areas. Search well and you will be rewarded! Seasons differ for species so do look up when you can best attempt to go. Enjoy!
