Lovely to walk here. Beautiful nature, the wonderful sea air and you can see where the sea broke the dike on 1-2-1961 with the flood disaster, really a moment of goosebumps.
So beautiful and in the summer you can wet the caravan. Visit monuments for info. Next to the slow tower
Well preserved place with a lot of history. It's great that an extensive information board has been placed here, because that way you also understand what this location means, and what those strange blocks are keeping behind in the water.
Interesting info board about the history and the area. Educational ! And very quiet when the weather is not so good.
Nice area, nice walking, unfortunately many cyclists especially baby boomers ;-)
