Pygmalion is a very sympathetic, small art gallery / gallery in the middle of the country. Their specialization overlaps with my interest. You will always receive a warm welcome and the friendly couple is helpful and really takes the time for you. Jaap Versteegh not only has a thorough knowledge of art, but also catchy storytelling and enthusiasm. You always learn a lot from it. The pricing rarely rises. I quickly felt at home there and I often find something to my liking.

Pygmalion is a very honest art trade, on the Lange Gracht in Maarssen, with a lot of enthusiasm driven by Jaap Versteegh. He is particularly interested in a period in art history that is sometimes treated step-motherly, the second half of the 19th and first half of the 20th century. I can assure you that a conversation with Jaap will inspire you for the art of that time. More than worth a visit!
