City Museum Woerden

Woerden is a lovely small dutch town in the countryside with a lively city center of shops and cafes. This city museum is a great way to spend an hour as the building itself is historical and then you get interesting rotating exhibits (I was there for a textile exhibit) as well as the history of Romans in the town. Highly recommend.

A small museum in the city's old City Hall. It's a museum that showcases the rich history of Woerden all the way back to the time the Roman Empire used the location for trade. There is an art exhibition which gets rotated every once in a while, and there are Roman artifacts on display that was found at various locations during the modern city's construction.
