Since the takeover, the range has deteriorated significantly. Previous owner also had a lot more knowledge. For these reasons I will not go there anymore.

This afternoon I asked for a well-fitting wine with my home-made onion soup. After some mutual discussions, a completely unknown Italian Nuovo Luadro from the Italian DOCG Gavi appeared, made from the local Cortese grape. I had never heard of this, but the combination with the soft sweetish onion and the spicy Gruyere was perfect! May it be clear that the owner is a vinologist and knows what he is talking about. Thank you for this advice! :)
