Beautifully situated chalet park on the edge of the forest near De Koog on Texel. After the forest there is a beautiful dune landscape. The sea is about two kilometers away. The forest and dune landscape extends to Den Hoorn. Ecomare, the seal sanctuary, is located in this area. An interior space shows aquariums where life in the North Sea and the Wadden Sea can be admired. On the south side is a dune reserve with an educational walkway. Very educational. Viewing everything including feeding the various animals takes half a day, but is definitely worth it.
