Public Grill

First of all, the service is absolute top! The women who work in the bar, serve the food and talk with all the customers really go out of their way to make sure everyone is having a good time! They accomodated us when we mentioned we needed to get the boat back to the mainland and we had to wait only around 20 minutes for our Angus steaks to arrive. It was very tasty, although the meat was a bit chewy (hence the 4 stars) but the portions were awesome. There was a side salad and the fries were so, so yummy! Good amount of mayo and the pepper sauce with the steak was tasty too! A great place where to eat, you really get the 'American' feel they are going for!

Unfortunately we didn’t get to taste the food cause we had to leave as they showed no respect for COVID-19 health safety regulations. No one was wearing a mask even though they are in the food production. The waiter was leaning on our table above our heads all the time and when I asked him politely if he could keep the distance that the government has instructed his response was very rude. He told me “if you wanted distance you shouldn’t have come here”. So we left. Such a shame that people don’t understand how serious this situation is. And they are rude as well, on top of it. Please make your customers feel welcome and safe. Otherwise the crisis will kick in even harder.

Really great American food and atmosphere as well as hard working friendly personnel. Try the public brownie as desert!

i had the ribs here and oh my good god they were absolutely fantastic. The meat was just falling of the bone and the flavor was heavenly. Thank you Public Grill for a wonderful lunch and i highly recommend this place to any tourist looking for a hearty meal.
