Restaurant Oranjerie ‘t Vogelhuis

Not cheap. Salads are about 15 euros. The poke bowl is indicated as sushi rice while it's actually normal rice, overcooked. The rice was very cold meaning that it was ready in the fridge and even so it took 45 minutes to have our order (one poke bowl and one bread with salmon). The bread itself is pretty good.

The balance between quality and quantity is not reflected in the price, which is a little bit expensive, but hey, Texel is a touristic place so people would pay anything, right? Besides that, the food was good but as I mentioned before, quantity and price wise are not in a scale, is not a gourmet restaurant, don't be deceived by the prices. Another thing that I found quite not handy and even not too considerate is the children corner, next to the restrooms, why in the world would you do that?

Delicious desserts after a great mixed grill. Reasonably priced and great ambiance.

Nice restaurant, good and friendly service, good food. I liked a lot the haasbiefstuck, the springrolls and the spring rolls were ok. Prices are also ok. We spent 50€ per person.

Not the best experience of my life and very expensive for what you get. I ordered a mix grilled and I get 3 different piece of meat with a strange yellow sauce on the top, still don't know what it was. My friend ordered a seafood salad and get 90% of green salad with 3 shrimps fighting together in the plate. The worse part was when I went to the toilet. When I came back, my plate was gone while I was not even finished.
