Just had a very unpleasant telephone contact where I only asked if there was still a place available. Owner simply did not want to speak to me and was extremely peculiar. When I answered his question that my parents (50+) would like to come and camp for 10 days, I finally got the response I will not respond and the phone was thrown on it. Never spoken to so unfriendly and had strange conversation with a campsite! Shame on you!
Good experiences
Bad experience! I have not even been at the campsite or I have been treated brutally. On the site my friend and I (he experienced camper) couldn't find anything about places with a lot of shade in front of our tent, so I thought I'd call to ask. Very politely I ask the gentleman on the phone if he could tell me something about that, then he immediately says that I could look for another place because he could already hear that I was not an experienced camper. Well, if I have to, I don't even have to go there!
Very bad experience! We were looking for a small quiet campsite and stranded at Texion. We were sent off the site because it was not enough for the owner to receive a guest for only a few days.
From 1 week or more you are allowed to stand there, otherwise you are not allowed to do anything at all and you have to keep your mouth shut and walk in step. Lots of rules and little freedom.
We share the experiences of previous negative reviews. Nice places (but along a busy road). But the manager gave us an unwelcome feeling, we have found a wonderful place.
