Nice little center with information about the Wadden and the marine life around the Wadden Islands. There are live seals and porpoises and the necessary aquariums. Nice with small children.

Educational, entertaining and corona-proof

During a drizzly spring day on beautiful Texel, we decided to visit ecomare because of the weather. Because even with the bad weather it is a guarantee for a very nice day. The exhibits about texel itself and nature life are fun and very informative. Playfully arranged for the young children, but also for the adult children. During the visit I saw a large number of parents who also found it fantastic to ram on the buttons of the displays. The animal shelters look top notch and there was a diverse number of animal species to admire. To top it all off, the enclosures of the seals and the porpoises. Here you really notice that it is an authority to reintegrate the animals back into nature. We saw some very curious ex-cryers who mistook my wife for their mother. All in all a nice day out for both young and old.

If you are on Texel, this is definitely something to do with your children. Nice park with animals that you can get very close to. Educational and neatly laid out. You can enjoy a lovely walk through the dunes and we certainly enjoyed ourselves. When we are back on Texel we will definitely come back

Very nice! You can enjoy yourself here for a day. Nice that you can also be close to the animals. All very pleasant
